Stay Safe During Work and Transport The iXdrive has a low centre of gravity due to the tank position. The iXdrive is available with three different ground clearance and track width combinations. The hydro pneumatic suspension on both axles provides operator comfort and boom stability in transport and field operation. For Optimal Boom Performance The parallelogram on the iXdrive S6 series combines stability with balancing and limited vertical movements to minimise spray height deviations. The HSA (24-30 m) aluminium or HSS (24-40 m) steel spray booms fold away compactly over the main tank. The Boom Guide system ensures a perfect spraying pattern for high precision spraying.

DESIGN AND COMFORT The iXdrive S6 self-propelled sprayer is designed with big focus on operator comfort and ease of use in combination with reliability and environmental protection. The iXdrive S6 is an ‘all in one sprayer’ offering ergonomics, reliability and comfort.

Space and Comfort The premium cab is spacious and equipped as standard with all the comfort an operator wants for a long day of spraying. The automatic climate control, active suspended leather seat and Level 4 overpressure cab with carbon filtering all add to the operator comfort. Due to the low position of the cab on the frame the iXdrive has a low centre of gravity and optimal view on the crop or the road at the same time. The mirrors can electrically be adjusted to the most convenient position for the operator. The hydraulic foldable stairs gives easy access to the cab and maximum clearance for the crop. For an optimal view on the crop and the spray boom, even for spraying during night. The cab can be equipped with LED working lights as an option.

Driving and Comfort Comfort for the operator is also added by the automatic camera for driving backwards. Immediately when reversing, the rear camera switches to the backside and is displayed on the dashboard. It is very comfortable on the road, as well as in the field or during manoeuvering in the storage place. A camera on the front wheels is available as an option. Spraying and Comfort The spraying technology is easy to operate from the cab, as the iXdrive is equipped as standard with the IsoMatch Tellus PRO universal terminal with IsoMatch Grip joystick for easy, simple fingertip control. The iXdrive S6 series offers easy access to the valve panel, chemical inductor, clean water tank, filters, pump and much more! Kverneland makes spraying easy and efficient.

EasySet Control Panel The EasySet control panel makes life easy by its intuitive operation. All functions are grouped together and it is well protected behind a cover and a bottomflap; this keeps the operational area free of dirt and chemicals. Electrical Level Indicator The electrical level indicator provides the actual tank volume management. It means all functions can be controlled from the cab. Switching between filling, agitation, spraying, diluting, priming, rinsing and tank cleaning is extremely easy. In addition to auto filling, iXclean ® Pro also offers a fully automatic multi-step rinsing and cleaning program with triple dilution for the entire sprayer. By pushing one button a comprehensive cleaning process, including all lines, will start. It is so thorough, that residue levels after automated cleaning are below 1%. iXclean ® Pro iXclean ® Pro means fully automatic electric valve

FULLY INTEGRATED CONCEPT

Clean Water Tank The 520 litre clean water tank is equipped with a level indicator. It can be filled via the opening on the clean water tank as well as by the standard external connection on the EasySet control panel. Hydrant Filling A 2” hydrant fill connection with anti return valve for direct filling under pressure is standard. The 3” hydrant connection at the front side of the cab is available as an option. Chemical Inductor The chemical inductor is hydraulically operated and an integrated part of the design. It is located next to the main tank outlet and very close to the valve panel for easy access and short hose connections to reduce rest liquid to a minimum. To work easily and safely the chemical inductor is equipped with 3 separate valves for the different functionalities. Big quantities of powder and difficult mixtures are injected without any problems or risk of foam within seconds! Easily Accessible Filters The transparent filter bowl provides direct view on the dirt degree of the suction filter without dismounting. A valve at the bottom allows the filter content to be emptied before removing the bowl to avoid contamination of the hands with chemicals. The self cleaning pressure filter prevents blocking via a continuous flow keeping the filter mesh clean. The undissolved particles are returned into the tank until they are completely dispersed. Quick filling on the headland can be done safely and easily. The transport trailer pumps the liquid into the main tank. The booms can stay unfolded for quick resumption of the spraying process.

Filling via the Suction Hose External aspirated water is filtered first by the filter on the hose and then by the suction filter. In parallel you can already use the chemical inductor to add and premix powders and liquid. External Washing (Optional) A cleaning kit with a 15 metre hose and a brush, can be connected to the pressure side of the pump. It is allowing precleaning of the sprayer in the field, using water from the clean water tank. It is located at the parallelogram at the rear of the machine. Turbo Agitation System The turbo agitation system keeps the mixture homogeneous during operation and can be easily switched off in case of foam risk or nearly empty tank. The powerful high pressure nozzles guarantee powerful mixing which you can activate after filling or a long break. Easy Service and Maintenance The easily accessible 520 l/min piston membrane pump is located at the right hand side of the machine directly at the main outlet of the tank, to ensure short hoses with low rest liquid. The pump can easily be slid out to the unique service position, or even totally be taken out for service and maintenance.

HIGH PERFORMANCE

The iXdrive S6 series is equipped as standard with a High Performance (HP) drive line. The sophisticated hydraulic setup results in a more efficient use of the available power. The HP ECODRIVE model is the top level offering automatic engine RPM which means maximum control. AND MAXIMUM PRODUCTIVITY

HP ECODRIVE Model The HP ECODRIVE model is the top level drive line with a high volume twin hydraulic pump setup and a standard 300hp stage V engine resulting in a super comfortable 1350 engine RPM at 40km/h road transport. With ECODRIVE the engine RPM will automatically decrease when possible and increase when necessary. This obvious fuel saving results in maximum cost efficiency and ultimate comfort for the driver. HP Model The standard HP model has a 250hp diesel engine and a hydraulic drive line set up for maximum and efficient use of the available power. The hydraulic system provides a step-less speed variation reducing engine RPM when possible resulting in optimal efficiency and comfort. The engine is a JD 6 cylinder 250hp single turbo with European Stage V emission as standard. The 250hp Tier 2 and 300hp Stage V engines are available as options.

PRODUCTIVITY AND PERFORMANCE

Engine Compartment The central positioned engine is covered by a stable hood which has a large opening for easy access. The left platform is fully cleared for easy access to the main tank and engine.

Easy Operation The HP model is always operated by the manual joystick. This intuitive operation makes the driver comfortable very quickly during field operation as well as during road transport. The brakes are activated by the brake pedal. The HP ECODRIVE model has a similar field operation as the HP model. During road transport the manual joystick only selects the driving direction. The driving pedal determines the speed and acceleration, whereas the brake pedal is operated when slowing down. The benefit is a very relaxed road transport operation, like a car with automatic gearbox or even better a continuously variable gearbox.

Reliable Wheel Motors The HP wheel motors are optimised on all levels. Most importantly the motors can supply higher power especially at low speed. They still consume less power, which is even more reduced at higher speeds. This efficiency saves fuel and is also more efficient with the available power. In combination with the ECODRIVE technology the user experiences a step-less speed variation providing power when it is needed and reducing engine RPM’s when possible. Continuous 4-wheel Drive The iXdrive has a smart hydraulic layout which guarantees a permanent 4-wheel drive. The hydraulic drive line is fed by 2 hydraulic pumps: one for the front axle and one for the rear axle. The oil flow for one axle can not go to one wheel only, resulting in a permanent traction on all 4 wheels. This is standard equipment and is always activated. It is simpler for the driver because it is not possible to forget to activate the 4-wheel drive and therefor not possible to accidentally get stuck. Integrated Brakes The active brakes are integrated in the wheel motors. For the HP model, the front axle is equipped with active brakes. The HP ECODRIVE model has integrated brakes on all 4 wheels.

STABILITY AND PRECISION

SAFE DURING WORK AND TRANSPORT The iXdrive S6 has a low centre of gravity due to the integrated main tank and compact dimensions which are beneficial for higher working speeds and safe transport. To suit farmers’ requirements the iXdrive S6 is equipped with three modes of steering and different ground clearance and track width combinations.

Maximum Steering Possibilities Maneuverability is guaranteed with 2-wheel/4-wheel and crab steering modes as well as ErgoDrive headland management as standard. The different steering modes are controlled by the IsoMatch Tellus PRO terminal and IsoMatch Grip joystick from the cab. Heavy Duty, Smooth Suspension The hydro pneumatic suspensions damps movement in both directions on both axles, providing maximum operator comfort and boom stability in transport, especially in curves and field operation. The 3D rear axle suspension allows axle movement, but limits the track influence on the spray boom.

Perfect Weight Balance The strong and robust chassis with an optimal gravity point brings a perfect 50%-50% weight balance in every situation, without any influence from tank filling or spray boom position.

Adjustable Track Width For optimal use, also in high crops, the iXdrive is available with three different ground clearance and track width combinations. The hydraulic adjustable track width ensures optimal row spacing possibilities in different crops. Changing track width with double hydraulic support and remote control is quick and easy, even in the middle of a busy spraying season. Automatic track width adjustment is available as an option. The track width can be automatically adjusted from the cab. Front and rear axle are operated individually from each other.

The HSS spray boom combines minimum weight with maximum strength and stability. Special hardened Domex steel gives this spray boom a long lasting heavy duty high quality reputation. The aluminium bonding instead of welding of the HSA spray boom range provides weight saving and has remarkable strength.

HSS Spray Boom The HSS spray boom is designed for professional use. Its triangular construction provides perfect integration of the stainless steel spray lines, nozzles and nozzle holders and the optimal hose routing where all is well protected. Working widths from 24 up to 40 metres with a variation in different section lengths means the sprayer can be adapted to customer requirements! The safety break away device on the HSS32-40 metre spray boom range ensures that the second boom part folds away when you hit an obstacle, so damage to the complete spray boom is avoided. With accessories like sensing skids or a tip end protection the HSS spray boom can be build up as complete as you want.

HSA Spray Boom The HSA spray boom offers efficient protection of the nozzle holders within the bottom profile. This profile is designed for easy cleaning and much more. With no sharp angles, no liquid and residues can be trapped. The anodised surface protects against corrosion and scratches. Aluminium bonding provides weight savings and gives remarkable strength. This aerospace technology has consistently proven itself in the field over the past years.

Compact and Stable In transport position the HSA and HSS spray booms fold away nicely over the tank design. This results in a transport width of 2.55m and a height below 4m that together with the low gravity point provides excellent stability and comfort on the road, as well as in the field.

Smooth and Suspended The iXdrive is equipped with a smooth, suspended parallogram that is active when in the field and in transport. The parallelogram combines optimal stability with soft boom balancing and limited vertical movement to minimise spray height deviations, securing correct crop coverage.

ErgoDrive Headland Management System ErgoDrive headland management comes as standard on the iXdrive S6. ErgoDrive assists the operator on the headland turns. Boom Guide ensures a perfect spraying pattern for high precision spraying. The Boom Guide sensor technology provides perfect guidance in many different and challenging field conditions, making it easier for the operator to stay focused on the spraying job.

Boom Guide Pro The system uses three ultrasonic sensors to control left- and right-hand boom wings independently for ultimate guidance in the most challenging field conditions. It can deliver positive and negative lateral movement on each side of the boom to follow the contours in every condition!

Boom Guide ProActive (3 sensors) This advanced system proactively reacts on boom movement and controls both the central and independent slope correction, as well as boom lift functions to guide the boom over the crop canopy, soil surface or a combination of both modes.

IXFLOW-E ®

INCREASE QUALITY AND SAVE COSTS

iXflow-E ® is the high pressure recirculation system with electric nozzle control. There is a free circulation of spray liquid with a return back to the tank as spraying stops. This means there is no sedimentation in the spray lines and no dead ends for spraying or cleaning, even when the working width is only partially used. During spraying the spray line is fed from multiple directions supplying constant pressure to each nozzle, so the operator can immediately start spraying at the set pressure. This is an unique technology which is patented by Kverneland.

For Increased Crop Quality and Cost Savings iXflow-E ® is available on the iXdrive self-propelled sprayer range in combination with HSS or HSA spray booms. It is easy for the operator to program the number and size of sections that fit their requirements and fields the best to their requirements and field situations. The combination of IsoMatch GEOCONTROL ® and GPS allows the operator to reduce overlap and over dosing, to increase crop quality and save costs. All this is in combination with high flow rates, because there is no impact on the section length, no loss of pressure or an unequal flow between sections. iXflow-E ® is also fully compatible with the iXclean ® Pro automatic cleaning and rinsing system. Rest liquid is sprayed in the field automatically, resulting in a low volume of rest liquid in the sprayer and spot contamination at the farm or in the field is avoided.

Precise and Reliable The Kverneland iXflow-E ® electrical ball valve features a robust, electric and stainless steel ball valve, that is very reliable compared to solenoid or plunger valves. Without any wearing parts and the self-cleaning-effect the ball valve stands out in reliability. The ball valve temporarily utilises an extremely low amount of power and provides a high capacity flow in a compact valve design. IsoMatch GEOCONTROL ® , an advanced precision farming application within the IsoMatch Tellus PRO and IsoMatch Tellus GO+, helps you to control all ISOBUS compatible machines. Combined with a GPS receiver it fulfills the future needs towards an easy and profitable way of working. Section Control (SC) The Section Control makes sure that the implement’s sections will be switched on and off automatically. Setup and full operation of a Kverneland ISOBUS implement is conveniently controlled by one single application: IsoMatch GEOCONTROL ® . Precision implement control and tractor steering on one screen. Recording of (pre-recorded) straight or curved guidance lines can be done simultaneously with the field boundary registration. Multiple lines can be stored per field. The iM FARMING Calculator calculates the cost saving by using these GPS functionalities as accurately as possible. After filling in the required data, the calculator clearly shows what you can save in terms of money.
