The iXdrive S6 series is equipped as standard with a High Performance (HP) drive line. The sophisticated hydraulic setup results in a more efficient use of the available power. The HP ECODRIVE model is the top level offering automatic engine RPM which means maximum control. AND MAXIMUM PRODUCTIVITY

HP ECODRIVE Model The HP ECODRIVE model is the top level drive line with a high volume twin hydraulic pump setup and a standard 300hp stage V engine resulting in a super comfortable 1350 engine RPM at 40km/h road transport. With ECODRIVE the engine RPM will automatically decrease when possible and increase when necessary. This obvious fuel saving results in maximum cost efficiency and ultimate comfort for the driver. HP Model The standard HP model has a 250hp diesel engine and a hydraulic drive line set up for maximum and efficient use of the available power. The hydraulic system provides a step-less speed variation reducing engine RPM when possible resulting in optimal efficiency and comfort. The engine is a JD 6 cylinder 250hp single turbo with European Stage V emission as standard. The 250hp Tier 2 and 300hp Stage V engines are available as options.
