Kverneland qualidisc pro and farmer short disc harrows

LEVELLING

PERFECT LEVELLING AND REGULATED SOIL FLOW

LEAVING AN EVEN SURFACE

In order to ensure an optimal soil flow and to create an even surface, Kverneland offers three tool options for both Qualidisc models. There are right and left hand side lateral parallelogram-guided side deflectors which follow the ground contours and control the soil flow. They are equipped with an abutment to limit the working depth especially at the end of the field (whilst reversing). On trailed models additional gauge wheels can be mounted in front of the discs to ensure better machine stability and a constant depth control during operation. When it comes to regulating the soil flow the finger harrow positioned just in front of the roller ensures that soil and residues stay longer in the working zones. The integrated finger harrow (400x10mm) prevents blockages of discs and rear roller and promotes the levelling of the soil. The fingers bent at the end allow a progressive soil flow without the need of higher power requirement. The fingers are overload protected to avoid damage in stony or other difficult conditions. Individual springs ensure individual release of the tines and keep levelling quality even in stony conditions. The angle of the harrow can be adjusted in aggressiveness for a perfect levelling result. The optional Clod Board in front of trailed machines increases the crumbling effect on ploughed land and ensures active levelling due to the high vibration of the cracker tines. The aggressiveness of the Clod Board can be adjusted hydraulically from the cab on the move. For first stubble cultivation the clod board bar can be easily set in the off position.
